Buying in Big Bear Lake

 Big Bear Lake refers to the incorporated area of the Big Bear Valley, which is governed by the City of Big Bear Lake. It should not be confused with Big Bear City, an unincorporated community located on the east end of the valley. Big Bear Lake is known for being a hub of tourism in the area, featuring popular destinations such as Snow Summit and Bear Mountain ski resorts, the charming downtown area known as The Village, numerous excellent restaurants, and a variety of fantastic marinas during the summer months.
